Optional:

Nothing is compulsory on your holiday but I have planned an exploration day should you wish to join.

You may book a massage or three to enjoy at the Finca through Tipi Yoga for an additional charge.

On our exploration day, Thursday, we follow our usual routine to an early lunch/brunch at which time I will head off to Almeria town and you are very welcome to join me. In Almeria we can visit Alcazara de Almeria, the largest Andalusian fortress on the Iberian Coast overlooking Almeria medina or meander through the old town to the marina for a smoothie (or stronger) before heading to Travieso for dinner. There is nothing scheduled at the finca after lunch to allow you freedom and time to fully immerse yourself in the local area.

Those who wish for some alone time at any stage in the retreat are very welcome to do so and have the option to explore the local area and cuisine, chill at the finca, visit Almeria town or Nijar village, or take the 2 hour journey to Granada perhaps. Go canyoning with a local guide, Kayak and snorkel in Cabo de Gata, visit the salt flats to see the Flamingos, climb El Fraile for stunning views, or visit Texas Hollywood, the set of many western films. The surrounding area also boasts fantastic rugged secluded sandy beaches and hikes along gentle mountain tracks where whales can sometimes be spotted on the horizon with Morocco shimmering in the distance. Perhaps SUP is too tame and kite surfing appeals, or jet skiing! Whatever takes your fancy, we can provide excellent recommended trips and contacts on request.

You will be asked to inform us of any food allergy or special dietary requirements you may have when booking via our Health and Indemnity form.
