Tipi Yoga was founded in 2015 by Ebony Kent. The name 'Tipi Yoga' was inspired by Ebony's desire to teach yoga outside in nature, but with our famous British weather at odds with this dream Ebony had to think of a way to combine a connection with the elements whilst keeping her yogis dry - enter, the Tipi!
Since 2015 the 24 foot Tipi, situated in the rolling hills of East Sussex, has slowly become a seasonal space for workshops and private yoga as the weekly classes became too popular for the space and moved to the local village hall.
Though offering less yoga in a tipi, Tipi Yoga continues to facilitate a range of yoga and holistic offerings, including weekly Hatha, Dynamic, and Chair yoga classes, monthly yoga and meditation workshops, bi-annual yoga retreats somewhere sunny, and so much more.
