Optional add ons:

On our exploration day, Wednesday, we follow our usual morning routine to brunch then head off to a local beach where we offer the opportunity to try out stand up paddle boarding - putting our yogi balance to the test! This, and the travel to the beach. would be an extra and is by no means compulsory, those who do not wish to take part have the option to explore the local area and cuisine, chill at the villa, visit Tarifa town, or Baelo Claudia Roman ruins and museum at Bolonia; the surrounding area boasts fantastic rugged beaches and hikes along gentle mountain tracks where whales can sometimes be spotted on the horizon with Morocco shimmering in the distance. Perhaps SUP is too tame and kite surfing appeals, perhaps kayaking, or jet skiing! Whatever takes your fancy, we can provide excellent recommended trips and contacts on request.

On the exploration day we will not run the evening class or dinner to allow you freedom and time to fully immerse yourself in the local area.

Your meals

To embrace a healthy, yogic lifestyle we promote a vegan/vegetarian diet consisting of pure, simple, natural foods which are easily digested and promote health. Two delicious meals will be provided daily. All our produce is seasonal, organic and locally sourced. Fertile mountain slopes and bountiful sunshine produce some of the tastiest sun ripened fruit and vegetables which when prepared with love result in mouth watering, nutritious and delicious cuisine. The meals will be served at our outdoor table or in our sheltered dining area, both overlooking the ocean. Fresh coffee, a variety of teas, juices and healthy snacks will be available. Filtered drinking water is always available. We also serve local organic vegan wines with Dinner, if you would like a glass. We are able to cater for gluten free and/or sugar free and plenty more diets also. You will be asked to inform us of any food allergy or special dietary requirements you may have when booking via our Health and Indemnity form.

What to bring

As you get ready we would like to offer some suggestions about what to bring. The number one suggestion is not to "over pack" because we want you to have as stress-free travel experience as possible. And the other key thing to know is that if you do forget something you will be able to get it in Spain.

  • Clothes that you can stretch and breathe in - but don't over-pack!

  • Jumpers & warm clothes - bring layers of clothing, as it will get cooler in the evenings and mornings. In April, May, September and October bring a sweater or jacket. It may also rain during these months.

  • Prescription and OTC medications.

  • Bathing suit, sunglasses and reef friendly sunscreen.

  • Mosquito repellent (No DEET)

  • IPod or Musical instruments

  • Beach clothes, towel & flip flops (or any amphibious shoes)

  • Walking shoes

  • A notebook for when you feel inspired

  • A book / reading light to read at night in your bed or a head light as the lighting in the rooms is quite dim.

  • Cash: Get Euros before you leave. Make sure you have enough cash for your travels.

  • Alarm Clock to get up for your morning yoga practice

  • Plug adapters to charge your electronics.

  • Back up batteries

  • Camera with extra memory cards

  • Emergency phone numbers /contact numbers to report credit cards lost or stolen

  • Your yoga mat (let us know if you need to borrow one).

  • Any yoga props you wish to bring.

We highly recommend that you check an online weather report prior to your journey.

A typical day

  • Starts off with an 8.30am Manifestation Meditation followed a pre-yoga snack of fresh and dried fruits, nuts, juices, coffee, tea and filtered water.

  • Morning outdoor energising Vinyasa Yoga.

  • Then brunch is served, consisting of delicious fruit salads and nuts, muesli, cereals, organic jams and fresh breads, yoghurts and cheeses, hummus, salads, kefir and a choice of eggs.

  • Once you have filled your tummy, it is free time. There is a beautiful pool at the villa, the beach lies just a 10 minutes walk away, there are plenty of day trips to take (we can organise a transport service). On one day your massage will take place during this time, on Monday we will use this time for an optional 10km hike for you to get to know the stunning coastline.

  • The second yoga session is held in the late afternoon, workshops begin at 4.30pm, classes start at 5.30pm. This session is more introvert and slow in nature, Hatha, Yin or Restorative.

  • To end of the perfect day at around 7.30pm a delicious 3 course dinner is served under the stars with the sharing of stories, lots of laughter and a glass of wine if you wish.

  • Guided meditation or Yoga Nidra under the stars or cosily in the villa.

  • Our evenings usually come to a close at 9.30pm. Tucked up with a book or star gazing...sleep follows soon.

You can participate in as many or as few of the activates as you would like. It’s your holiday, we want you to find a pace that is enjoyable for you.
